Originally hailing from Perth, Australia, Evan got his start in web development after an unfortunate bout with nature. Being bit by a spider, snake and a croc all on t he same day made Evan decide to stay indoors, close to a computer. After receiving a Computer Science/Commerce Degree from the University of Western Australia Evan honed his Drupal and software development skills at a local dev shop, Doghouse Media. When the paranoia of biting and poisonous creatures failed to leave him completely, Evan made the trek to the safer shores of Canada's West Coast where he worked as a Lead Developer at another Drupal Shop in Vancouver before finally settling in to his role as Senior Drupal Developer here at Fuse. When Evan isn’t working, he can be found sometimes successfully dodging Vancouver traffic on his bike and frequenting very loud death metal concerts. We also know he’s got secret loves for Fosters, Paul Hogan and a not-so-secret love for Canadian women…well, one in particular.
